The House Of Govinda and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. All the styles listed on the website have been described in detail for your reference covering all essential attributes of the garment pertaining to fabric details, embroidery details, and individual component descriptions as well in order to enable you to make an informed purchase decision. Shipping

We offer shipping worldwide. The estimated delivery time will differ with each order. We typically take around 45 business days to dispatch domestic orders, and 60 business days to dispatch international orders.

 

All international orders - The insurance amount, custom charges if any and shipping charges will be additional to the invoice amount. Kindly check with the team before placing all orders. 

 

The shipping timelines mentioned above are over and above the timeline required to procure or make the ordered piece, which is mentioned in the details given on the product page.

 

Sometimes, delivery timelines are subject to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, unexpected travel delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions or any political disruptions or strikes. We promise to keep you updated at every step.

Cancellation Policy, Exchange(s), Return(s) and Refund(s):

At present, we do not offer the option of cancelling your purchase & claiming a refund of the Product(s) ordered by you on www.thehouseofgovinda.com

 

As a standard company protocol across all direct point of sales, we do not endorse any return or exchange policy, irrespective of a domestic or international order, neither on fresh off the rack, nor on made to order pieces, except in case of the below mentioned exceptional scenarios:

  1. If the merchandise you have ordered from us is damaged or defective.

  2.  If there is an irreparable technical issue with an altered/ordered piece against the client specifications, for example – sizing issue, fabric covering, colour mismatch or length issue.

  3. If there has been an unprecedented delay in your order and we have not notified you of the same, within 2 weeks from the date of the order placed.

In any of the above scenario(s), you should address an e-mail to info@houseofgovinda.com to inform us about the issue. You could also inform us about the same over a call. At +91 – 9833844377 Alternatively, you may also choose to connect with us through WhatsApp  on the aforesaid number during business hours. However, you must clearly state the concerns clear along with the images of the problem areas in the outfit within 24 hours of receiving it.

 

However, it is only after receiving an acknowledgment of the same from us, that you may send the piece back to us for the necessary corrective actions. Unsolicited returns will not be received without authorization. The customer will be responsible to pick-up products sent without prior intimation. Once the garment is received by us, please be informed that the sole discretion of accepting the return and/or exchange of the rejected piece lies with www.thehouseofgovinda.com  / The House of Govinda. Further, such return and/or exchange is entirely dependent on the timeline above as well as the quality/condition of the Product(s) returned by you to us. While returning the Product(s), you are duty bound to ensure that the Product(s) is/are unused, in a sealed condition as you received it, with its original packaging.

 

We shall take our final decision within 10 business days of receiving the Product(s) and you shall be duly notified of the same by way of an email.

 

We reserve the right to offer credit notes for all approved returns and/or exchanges. The above-referenced credit notes shall carry a maximum validity of 6 months and are redeemable solely at our flagship studio at Mumbai. All credit notes issued are for the MRP amount only and do not include any applicable shipping/duties or tax amount.

  • No returns or exchanges are allowed on Product(s) available at discounted prices on www.thehouseofgovinda.com

  • All/any exchanges are allowed for Product(s) bought from our own website www.thehouseofgovinda.com. only

  • In case you wish to change/modify your order, any difference in the price of the revised order shall be payable prior to updating your order. If the price of the new order is lesser than the original order, a credit note will be issued against the balance amount.

 

Pricing:

The pricing of the outfits listed on the website fall under the sole discretion of the brand. The prices mentioned for all the styles are mentioned in Indian Rupees. However, for other parts of the world, USD, GBP & EUR prices are mentioned based on the conversion rate. Shipping charges, duties & local taxes will be added at the checkout page only in the final payable amount that will be charged to you. 

 

With respect to items sold on www.thehouseofgovinda.com , we will charge your credit card before your order has entered the shipping process. For any reason, if we are not able to ship the products as per your order, we will intimate you electronically and refund the value of the products not available.

 

The website contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on the site may be incorrectly priced. In the event that such mispricing occurs, we will send you appropriate communication to inform you to cancel the order or make an additional payment for the difference in the price of such Products.

 

Risk of Loss:

Only your Domestic / within India online order is insured by The House Of Govinda during the transit time until it is delivered to you. For security reasons, all purchases made online require a signature by the receiver on delivery, at which point the responsibility of the goods passes to you.

 

Colours:

We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this website. However, since you will be viewing them on your mobile/monitor screens, we cannot guarantee that your screen display of any colour will be accurate. A minor variation in colours is not a defect as different screens project the colours differently.

 

Sizing:

The fit of our garments depends on the cut, fabric, and style. Some garments are designed to have a relaxed fit while some garments are consciously styled to be more fitted, in order to accentuate the form. Please review our size guide that details out the exact measurements for your perusal, and we will assist you in selecting the size best suited to you.

 

Product Properties and Instructions for Wash-Care:

All of our products are handcrafted using the finest fabrics and embroidery material. The subtle variations in colour, texture and finish are intrinsic to hand made products.

 

Wash-Care: All our Product(s) contain specific wash-care instructions. The said instructions are available on our website as well as on a tag attached to the Product(s). You are requested to strictly adhere to the Wash-Care instructions to ensure to protect them from damage.

Duties, Cesses and Taxes:

All our orders are shipped internationally from our studio in Mumbai, India to your provided shipping address. Due to the nature of international orders, occasionally, a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. However, we are not able to accurately calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied on account of frequent change in the rate(s) of such import duties and taxes. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, you will be responsible for paying this additional fee.

 

The House Of Govinda takes no responsibility for non-delivery of orders in case such taxes and/or duties, as the case may be, is/are not accepted and settled by the recipient at the delivery address. Please note that we shall not provide any refunds in such cases.
